Free break & wellbeing timer for desk workers
Small, regular breaks make long days at a screen easier on your eyes and body. Supabreak reminds you to take them, right in your browser.
How it works
- Step 1
Pick a break
Start with the 20-20-20 eye break: a nudge every 20 minutes to rest your eyes on something far away.
- Step 2
Set your hours
Reminders run only during your active hours, 09:00 to 17:00 unless you change them.
- Step 3
Get a gentle nudge
Keep the tab open in the background. When it is time, a notification and a soft chime remind you.
Supabreak runs in your browser, so reminders work while a Supabreak tab (or the installed app) is open. It is made for computers: desktop Chrome and Edge give the best experience.
Break tools
One tool is ready today. More are on the way, all sharing the same settings and history.
Settings
These apply to every Supabreak tool and are saved in this browser.
Your data
No account and no server: everything stays on your device. Link a file or export a backup to keep it safe.
Frequently asked questions
What is Supabreak?
Supabreak is a free break and wellbeing timer for people who work at a computer. Each tool reminds you to do one small, healthy thing during the day, starting with the 20-20-20 eye break.
There is nothing to install and no account to create. Open a tool, press Start, and Supabreak nudges you with a browser notification when it is time for a break.
Where is my data stored?
Only on your device. Your settings and break history are saved in your browser, and Supabreak has no server that receives them.
In Chrome, Edge and Opera you can also link a sync file, for example in iCloud Drive or Dropbox, to use the same data on another computer. Every browser can export and import a backup file.
Which browser works best?
Supabreak works in any modern browser, but it is built for desktop Chrome and Edge. They support notifications, installing Supabreak as an app, and the optional sync file.
Reminders only run while a Supabreak tab or the installed app is open, so it is best suited to a computer you use all day rather than a phone.
What tools are coming next?
Box breathing, a water intake calculator with sip reminders, 4-7-8 breathing, a stand-up timer, desk exercises and a meditation timer are planned. They will all share the same active hours, notifications and data.
