Who we are
Supabreak (supabreak.com) is operated by Internet Mate Ltd, registered in England and Wales under company number 07709209. Registered office: Unit 1 Rowan Court, 56 High Street Wimbledon, London, England, SW19 5EE. You can contact us at info@internetmate.uk.
Data stored on your device
To work, Supabreak saves your settings (such as active hours, timer lengths, sound and theme), the current timer state and a history of completed breaks in your browser's local storage. If you link a sync file, the same data is also written to the file you chose, and your browser keeps a reference to that file in its IndexedDB storage.
This data never leaves your device unless you move it yourself, for example by exporting it or by keeping the sync file in a cloud folder such as iCloud Drive or Dropbox. In that case the cloud provider's own privacy terms apply. You can delete everything at any time with Clear all data in Your data, or by clearing this site's data in your browser.
We also store a few small preferences in local storage: your colour theme, whether you dismissed the notifications banner, and your cookie choice. These are not cookies and are not sent to us.
Notifications
If you allow notifications, your browser shows break reminders that Supabreak creates on your device while a Supabreak tab or the installed app is open. We do not collect a push subscription or any identifier for this. You can turn notifications off in Supabreak's settings or in your browser's site settings.
Analytics cookies
With your consent, we use Google Analytics 4 to understand how Supabreak is used, for example which pages are visited and which browsers are popular. Google Analytics sets cookies (such as _ga and _ga_*) and processes usage data like your approximate location, device and browser, and the pages you view. Google acts as our data processor. The legal basis is your consent.
Analytics is not loaded until you click Accept. If you click Reject, no analytics cookies are set. You can change your choice at any time with the Cookie settings link in the footer. Your timer settings and break history are never sent to Google Analytics.
Hosting
Supabreak is hosted by Vercel. Like any web server, Vercel processes technical information such as your IP address and browser details to deliver the site and keep it secure, and may keep short-lived server logs. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in running a secure, working website.
Your rights
Under UK and EU data protection law you have rights to access, correct, delete and object to the processing of your personal data, and to withdraw consent at any time. Because Supabreak keeps your timer data on your own device, you can exercise most of these rights directly in the app. For anything else, email us at info@internetmate.uk. You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
Changes to this policy
We will update this page if the way Supabreak handles data changes, for example if we add new features. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
